Stories can inspire us to talk about our future care
Why Stories
Many of us have personal experiences around death and dying. Our personal stories inform what we would or would not want for our care. By talking about, and learning how to influence, our care whilst still healthy we may affect our future care.
Conversations for Life Stories
We all have a story. The Conversations for Life stories to date were volunteered by local people in Cumbria as part of a regional pilot project to inspire others to talk about what they want for their care while still healthy. Messages from this film/ DVD are explored in our workshops. Contact us to help raise this awareness.
Your opinion counts
Sharing your personal story may influence care in the future. If you’ve had a positive or negative experience in the past three years that you want the NHS to know about, registering your opinions can make a difference. We welcome your recommendations and feedback to this Conversations for Life website and will update it regularly as well.
